Sending and organisation

Can I send multiple files at once?

Yes. A single send can contain several files: the recipient downloads them one by one or all together in a single ZIP archive.

Can I organise sent files on the server, in folders?

Yes. Each send can be assigned to a folder/path, so the archive stays tidy and files are filterable by folder and by name.

Is there a maximum number of users per plan?

No: the model is not per user. Senders and recipients are unlimited. “Users” are the members of your team who manage the app (access via Cloudflare Access). Pricing does not depend on the number of people: it is based on an annual license + real usage, not per-user licenses.

Files and sizes

What is the maximum file size?

Up to 25 GB per single file. Uploads happen in chunks (multipart), so even very large files are handled reliably. In multi-file sends each file follows the same limit.

Can I pause and resume the upload if it is slow?

Effectively yes: the upload is split into 16 MB chunks and chunks already uploaded stay on the server. If it is interrupted it resumes from the missing parts, without re-uploading what already went through.

If the browser or PC crashes, do I have to start over?

No, not from scratch: completed chunks are saved and, on resume, the system reissues upload links only for the missing parts. For very long uploads the links are renewed automatically.

Can I pause and resume the download?

Yes. Downloads use standard HTTP requests with Range support: browsers and download managers can pause and resume without starting over.

Data, expiry and tracking

What happens to my files after I send them?

They stay in your dedicated R2 bucket (isolated instance). They are served to the recipient via a temporary link while it is valid; after expiry they are no longer downloadable and daily maintenance can remove them.

How long does the send link last and how long are files kept?

By default the link lasts 7 days, configurable per send. Retention follows your expiry policies; a daily job handles cleanup and expiry.

Is it tracked who downloads the files?

Yes. For each download we record date and time, IP, browser/device (user agent), country and bytes served. You can also get an email notification when a recipient downloads.

Cost

Do I pay bandwidth for every download?

No. On Cloudflare R2 egress (download bandwidth) is free: you pay for stored space and operations, not for the GB downloaded. More downloads do not raise your bandwidth cost.

If I send the same 100 MB file to 1000 people, what does it cost?

Very little. The file is stored once (100 MB is about $0.0015/month of storage). The 1000 downloads generate about 100 GB of traffic, which is free on R2, plus fractions of a cent of operations. In practice it is already covered by the license.

Does Express have a monthly fee?

No. No monthly fee and no per-user cost. The price is a one-time setup + an annual license + usage-based Cloudflare costs (egress free) + a management fee (absent in Enterprise). Amounts are defined on your volumes.

Marketing

Can I use them as email attachments and track downloads for marketing?

Yes. You send a link (not a heavy attachment) to paste into emails or campaigns; every download is tracked and the landing page is branded with banners, popups and news. It is designed to turn file delivery into a marketing channel too.
